After eating lunch, I went to see Kusasenri-ga-hama, which spreads out in front of us.
Kusasenri-ga-hama, which spreads beneath Mt. Eboshi, is a grassland that extends over a diameter of 1 km.
Horses and cattle are grazed in the grassland, and you can also take a horse-drawn carriage ride and take a walk through the grassland.
There are two ponds formed by rainwater accumulation. The pond on the right never dries up, but the pond on the left apparently dries up frequently.
The view of the Nakadake crater we saw earlier from Kusasenri-ga-hama. Volcanic gas was still billowing out.
The Aso Mountain sightseeing tour ends here. I took a taxi to Akamizu Station, boarded a train, experienced a switchback, and then headed to Kumamoto Airport.
